Partner With a Leader in Workforce Development

Each year, thousands of students across New York State enter and complete academic, vocational and/or workforce/career development training thorough programs delivered by the Advanced Technology Training And Information Networking (ATTAIN).

Since 1999, the ATTAIN program has been leveling the educational playing field by providing increased community access to education, training and technology resources. It is now a proven technology-based solution to the unemployment and basic skills deficiencies of out-of-school and out-of-work youth and adults.

ATTAIN is an innovative model developed by the State University of New York's (SUNY) University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD) and implemented by Instructional Services Inc. (ISI).  For nearly a decade, thousands of individuals of all ages have used ATTAIN labs to access over 30 interactive multimedia education and training software programs to enhance academic, vocational and workforce development skills. The results have been dramatic: a new gateway to education, improved occupational and life skills, better job opportunities, stronger families, and communities that are more enlightened.

ATTAIN Partnerships

There are currently 31 ATTAIN labs in the Educational Opportunity Centers (EOCs) run by SUNY/UCAWD, along with community-based organizations (CBO’s) and housing authorities in New York state. The ATTAIN project has established partnerships with businesses, community based organizations and schools to provide a venue for these agencies to deliver academic, vocational and technology programs to their customers and professional staff.

In addition to the 30 plus programs available, our facilities are equipped with smart boards, projection systems, distance learning technology and T1/T3 internet connectivity. This cutting-edge technology helps make trainings and program delivery smart, efficient and effective.

If you are interested in using our facilities to conduct workshops/training sessions, or if you are interested in using our staff to support your professional development efforts please contact ATTAIN to get more information.
