Niagara Falls ATTAIN Lab Building Maintenance Trade Program Participants Graduate

Graduation is always a great day, "said BOCES Instructor Jacob Daniels as he proudly handed out Certificates of Completion to eight (8) student enrolled in the Niagara Falls Housing Authority ATTAIN Lab's Building and Maintenance Trade Program on April 3, 2008.

The program was part of the Housing Authority's HOPE Vi community and supportive services intitiative to provide residents and members of the surrounding community with the necessary skills to obtain employment in the construction field.

The first part of the program utilized the SUNY ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training And Information Networking) state-of-the-art lab, where students learned plumbing, electrical and construction concepts. The second part of the program included hands-on training from instructors at Orleans Niagara BOCES.
