ATTAIN Lab Microsoft IT Program

Your future is entirely up to you and the right skills mark the way to success.

Microsoft is offering a unique opportunity to people across the world a chance to become certified as a Microsoft Specialist at their expense. The Niagara Falls Housing Authority's ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking) Lab, located in the Doris W. Jones Family Resource Building, 3001 Ninth Street, is happy to announce that a partnership was formed with Microsoft to bring this initiative to Niagara Falls.

The Microsoft IT program is designed to offer people the opportunity to get hands-on knowledge of Microsoftís software and operational systems. This certification is a pathway to a variety of employment opportunities. Whether in a large corporation or a small office, office specialists use programs such as Word and Excel to function effectively as administrative assistants, office managers, and in numerous other positions that require day-to-day problem solving skills. The average income of an individual with Microsoft certification earns between $30,000 - $35,000 annually.

The program is FREE and open to all residents of Niagara County. Classes will be held Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 am ñ 12:00 pm, beginning on September 17, 2007. For more information and/or to register, please call the Doris W. Jones Family Resource Building at (716) 285-5374.
