My name is Angelica Rodriguez and as many other women who lose their jobs or just want a new beginning, I looked for information. When I looked for information, I did not go to just anyone, I went straight to the place where I was going to get started on my future career. The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Non-Violence.
Since I worked at a pediatric clinic for 10 years and knew so much about children from new borns to adolescents, I decided to open my own day care center. Sure enough, when I put my mind to it, I did it. Every day, I would go to the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Non-Violence and took the course for childcare providers. With Richard (Jugarie’s) help, dedication and knowledge, I finished. I already have my daycare open, and I am hoping to expand it.
